Here are our Top 5 Singapore Travel Tips Not To Do while visiting Singapore.
1. Do Not LITTER or SPIT

Singapore is a very clean and green city. Throwing away small items like cigarettes, tissues, or small pieces of paper will not be tolerated by our government and thus, there is a penalty of S$1000 for littering and S$500 for spitting!.
Please dispose of all litter responsibly!.
2. Do NOT Bring Chewing Gum to Singapore!

Singapore has a strict enforcement for bringing in chewing gum. The inconsiderate act of disposing chewing gum like sticking them on tables and chairs, spitting them on the floor, and sticking them on lift buttons has prompted the government to impose such a ban since 1992.
Smuggling chewing gum into Singapore however, may result in a one year jail, and a $10,000 fine, it's taken that seriously!.
3. Do NOT Bring Drugs into Singapore!

There is a mandatory death penalty for those convicted of trafficking, manufacturing, importing or exporting more than 15g of heroin, 30g of morphine, 30g of cocaine, 500g of cannabis, 200g of cannabis resin and 1.2kg of opium.
Possessing these quantities is deemed as prima facie evidence of trafficking, please do not do it, it is not tolerated!.
4. Do NOT Play with Firecrackers or any Form of Pyrotechnics!

Singapore has banned the use of Chinese & any other form of firecrackers except during festive seasons like the Chinese New Year since August 1972. Some milder forms of firecrackers are allowed but controlled in the amount of powder they can contain.
5. No Smoking in Air-Conditioned Places

Smoking is not allowed in air-conditioned places regardless if it is an office building or a shopping complex.
You have to leave the complex before you can light up your cigarette. The no smoking rule extends to public bus-stops, restaurants and pubs, coffee-shops and building lobbies. What’s the best option? Stop smoking!.
We hope these Singapore Travel Tips are helpful for you in planning your trip to Singapore. It is always better to know a little bit more and to be prepared for unforeseen circumstances.
Have a safe and wonderful trip!
