Singapore Changi Airport, one of the world's top rated airports, offers service and facilities at its three Terminals at standards served at the best airports in the world. Changi Airport has upgraded to a yearly handling capacity of 70 million passengers after the recent opening of Terminal 3.

Now Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 of Singapore Airlines are used for operating flights. Each terminal has its assigned flight destinations.
For easy reference of the passengers, the flight departure terminal details are indicated on the Singapore Airlines ticket and also on the boarding pass.

• Over 100 tax-free shops.

Over 30 food and beverage outlets in both terminals serving a wide range of cuisine.

• PC connection points and wireless Internet access services in both terminals.
• Postal and telecommunications offices.
• Ramps, elevators, specially-designed toilets and telephones for the disabled.
• Rental in six-hourly blocks range between SGD 56 and SGD 64 for single or double occupancy.
• Showers, gym and sauna facilities are also available at extra cost for non-transit hotel occupants.

Various other facilities available for the passengers include a free Singapore tours for all transit and transfer passengers who have with them more than five hours to spare before their next connecting flight. The tours operate from 1000 hrs to 1900 hrs, however, the last booking is at 1830 hrs. Seats are available on a first-come-first-served basis and they are limited in number. Also, a Skytrain for those passengers commuting between the two terminals is offered totally free of cost. This free Skytrain service is available from 0600 hrs to 0100 hrs. It takes less than two minutes to commute between the Terminals.

Changi International Airport Authority has also offered the facility of nurseries with private feeding rooms for the passengers with small kids. It also has separate smoking rooms in both terminals with separate ventilation systems, a 24-hour minimart, car hire and hotel reservation counters, hair salons and medical clinics. For the convenience of Non-English speaking French and Japanese passengers, Changi Airport has the facility of information counters where there are French and Japanese speaking customer service officers.


There is another Budget Terminal at the Chnagi International Airport, designed to cater to the budget airline business model. , which is operational from 26 March 2006. It is a 25, 000 square meters building comprising of 2 adjacent single-storey buildings separately dedicated for departure and arrival respectively. The Budget Terminal consists of 10 departure gates, 18 check in counters, and 3 arrival baggage belts. With an annual handling capacity of about 2.7 million passengers, the Budget Terminal operates at the lowest International Passenger Charge . The Passenger Service Charge is SG$7 and Passenger Security Service Charge is priced SG$6.

There are 10 international flight operators currently operating from terminal 2. They are Air Canada, Air France, Air New Zealand, Lufthansa German Airlines, Malaysia Airline System, Philippine Airlines, Royal Brunei Airlines, SilkAir, Singapore Airlines and Virgin Atlantic Airways. Others operate from Terminal 1. The airport operates about 80 airlines that serve more than 180 cities in more than 50 countries world wide. Changi Airport has emerged as a major aviation hub in the entire Asia Pacific region.
