singapore MR student hostel's ideals are to develop students to be good in games and studies, to
inculcate leadership skills and inter-personal relations, to respect one's peers and broaden their
outlook. MR student hostel is ideally suited for international students studying in Singapore. It is currently
provide a conducive living and learning environment for International Student. It's a 5 blocks
separated for MALE & FEMALE. Facilities & sports are Basketball court, Table tennis, Badminton court,
Gym Room, Student study room, Student recreation room, Barbeque Pits, Kitchen and Dinning room
and etc.

1.How convenient are the hostel's surrounding amenities? Is there any Supermarket?

Walking distance around 3mins to Sheng Siong Supermarket

2.Does the air conditioning operates 24 hours?

No, for Monday to Friday is 6pm to 6am, Saturday & Sunday will off only from 3pm to 6pm.

3.Inside the double sharing room, triple sharing room or quadruple sharing room, are there bunk beds or single beds?

only have 4 sharing & 5 sharing, is all bunk beds.

4.Normally, how many people share the public common toilet/bathroom when it is necessary?

All the rooms are attached shower room and toilet

5.Does the hostel provides bed sheets, blankets, pillows, pillowcases or towels?

We provides individual student bed sheets, blanket, pillow and pillow case

6.Can the rental fee be payed monthly or lump-sum payment?

We offer Quarterly payment

Our room size is 8.5m x 3m = 25.5 square meter.. at 274.48 square feet

8.Can I visit the hostel at any time? Is there any time limit for room viewing? Can I do the room viewing during Weekends?

Sure, anytime you can visit.. but prefer to call first before visit, so that my staff will know who is coming..

9.How far is the nearest subway station and bus station?

7mins walk to Boon Keng MRT, bus station to town area around 3mins walk.

10.Does the hostel provides free shuttle bus?

So far no shuttle bus services

11.Where to eat?

Around 7mins walk to MRT station have hawker center and food court.. fast food have KFC and Mcdonals. Opposite of our hostel have a small food stall. Around 1min walk

12.How male and female tenants are separated? At different levels? At different buildings?

Total is 5 single block, we separated by male and female block

13.Does the roommate can be chosen?

We will try to compromise their request if they have any. Normally prefer arrange their hometown student or same nationality to stay together, because they can easy to be good friend.

14.Is there any washing machine provided?

Yes, we have coin-operated washing machine and dryer.. Per wash is $2.00

15.Do the rooms have windows?

Have a window for individual room

16.Can I chose to not stay with Chinese?

Yes, of course... if the room availability is allow us to do so.

17.Will the common bathroom for each floor be excessively crowded?

We have additional 2 female toilet and 2 male toilet beside the dinning area.. and more than 10 washing basin at the common toilet.

18.Does the hostel provides laundry services?

No, because of hygiene issue, we prefer them to wash by washing machine.
