小额索偿法庭可受理涉及金额不超过10000新元、租约在两年以内的住宅租赁案件。索赔应在案件发生一年内向小额索偿法庭提出。
案件递交小额索偿法庭前,任何一方均不得由律师作代表。所有纠纷均先进行调解,调解不成功后,才进行法庭裁决。
